A paper co-authored by our students Deepak Joshi and KC Menuka and Director Mani Venkatasubramanian, with our colleagues at Texas A&M University, Arizona State University, and RTE France won the best paper award at the International Conference on Smart Grid Synchronized Measurements and Analytics (SGSMA) conference held in Washington DC

BELOVED FACULTY’S PASSING…
Director, and a much-loved member of our faculty and WSU family, has recently passed away. Glen was instrumental in founding the WSU Power Professorship program in 1973, which continues to support undergraduate power engineering education at WSU. Glen was 90 years old. Our prayers are with his family.
